Counting today, there's only 14 days left until my birthday. Am I excited? Naw not really. That could be that I haven't been able to sleep very well lately, I dunno why.

Now go get me a pie for my birthday. Fruit, please and thank you.

My authentic japanese name is 吉国 Yoshikuni (good fortune country) 京介 Kyousuke (mediate the capital).

Lets evolve together, baby.

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 23, 2008, 12:51 PM
Evolution starts with a need to adapt, whether it is caused by competing for food sources or changing climate. Evolution is the process of change in the traits of organisms from one generation to the next. This process can be due to mutation or the transfer of genes between species.

Charles Robert Darwin proposed and provided evidence that all animals have evolved over time from common ancestors through the process he called "natural selection." This is a process of elimination. An organism more suited to the environment or situation thrive, thus the feature or features that help the animal survive become more common. This was widely excepted by the scientific community and now forms the basis of modern theories on evolution.

The purpose of evolution is adaptation to the environment in which the organism lives. This process can cause either the gain of a new feature, or the loss of an ancestral feature. One example of this is an organism building up an immunity or resistance to disease or toxins. Adaptation can be followed though the fossil record and by observing modern organisms. Similar structures can be seen in a human hand as well as the wings of a bat. By following these patterns and their changes we see the evidence of evolution at work.

When two species interact and develop matched sets of adaptations, it can result in Co-evolution. This is when one species causes another species to adapt. These changes in the second species cause the first to adapt for survival. This can be likened to an evolutionary arms race, in which organisms must change to survive.

Not all interaction between species results in this type of evolution. Another form of adaptation is Co-operative Evolution. This can be a symbiotic relationship between two organisms in which both organisms benefit from the relationship. It can also be a process of organisms grouping together to form hives or colonies where cooperation provides benefits.

Since the 1930's with Charles Darwin's scientific discovery, the theory of evolution has changed the world of science forever. Changing the way we understand the processes of time on organisms large and small. Further study of evolution in all it's forms continues to change the way we understand the world.

Well my move to PA has gone well. I live with Stefi and her parents, so I'm well fed and have access to the intarwebs and whatnot. I help clean out the fridge, which is win win for everybody. Some things are a bit crap, but it's getting better all the time. <3

Love you guys.

Love 'n' Stuff

Journal Entry: Tue Apr 1, 2008, 11:50 AM
How old are you?
-22-23

Does love mean never having to say you're sorry?
-Of course it does. You're human and you will make mistakes.

Do you believe teenagers can experience true love?
-Wouldn't that really depend on their person rather than their age?

Do you believe no one is ever too young to fall in love?
-Not at all. However, you might be too young to know it.. but again it depends on the person rather than their age.

Is it better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all?
-I suppose so.. That's really cliche though and really a silly question. But if I have to answer, yes it is better.

Have you ever fallen in love at first sight?
-I don't believe you can fall in love at first sight. You can find someone interesting and cute, but you can't know their true qualities simply by looking at them. Unless you're psychic now..

Can you tell the difference between infatuation and love?
-I have a difficult time with that sometimes. Some of the feelings can be very similar. But after some time the difference is all to apparent.

Does physical appearance matter when you're in love?
-A smidgen. Finding someone physically attractive is a key first step to finding out more about that person. It may seem vain and shallow, but it's human nature after all.. Basing your entire experience on the physical attraction is really where you get into vanity.

Do you have to "work" to stay in love?
-Honestly yes you do. You have to work for perfection right? You shouldn't have to work amazingly hard though, I guess..

If you're in love is it possible to still be attracted to someone else?
-As my brilliant love said; Attraction and love are two very different things. Attraction may not last.. these things come and go.

Are you currently in love?
-Am I in love? If one could classify such a feeling with a word..

How do you know that you were in love with someone?
-I suppose it would be different for everyone. But for me it's when after a long time you still can't run out of things to say and do. When their company alone is enough to bring you happiness. When you feel empty without that person, and you can't imagine life without them. Love is when you feel that someone truly completes you. (I thought long and hard about it)

Is it possible to "cheat" and still be in love with the person you cheated on?
-Mistakes do happen.. you have to learn from them and correct it, so it never happens again. But it depends on the situation too... so, it's complicated.

If your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife ever cheated on you, would you leave him/her?
-The first time could be forgivable, in time. But anything more than that I would say no... but it depends on the situation I guess.

Explain your reason for the above answer
-Well being human is making mistakes; and should be learning from them. If they aren't learning from their mistakes.. you might be dating a monkey... Watch out for that.

Based on your answers do you think people will think you understand what love is all about?
-Meh, I'm not worried about what they think.

Are you going to be bold enough to post this on your profile?
-Yer damn right I am.
